A safe neighborhood
is always the first necessity for maintaining a viable community. Valley Village
has an enviable reputation as a safe place to live. Quality of life does not
happen without resident participation.
The Neighborhood
Watch program of the Los Angeles Police Department offers residents a way to
keep track of safety issues in the neighborhood. Even more important it provides
a way to help keep crime, gang activity and graffiti out of Valley Village.
Consider becoming
part of Neighborhood Watch. One organizational meeting where you can get to know
your neighbors is all it takes. The goal is to create a strong system of
communication and pro-active involvement to keep Valley Village safe.
