Valley Village is a community first formed in 1939 and later approved by the Los Angeles City Council. Approximately 22,000 residents live within the boundaries that are as follows:

WEST: the Tujunga Wash
SOUTH: the Ventura (101) Freeway
EAST: the Hollywood (170) Freeway
NORTH: Burbank Boulevard

The Valley Village Post Office encompasses some, but not all, of the zip codes 91607, 91601 and 91602.
